As Rush Limbaugh has repeatedly pointed out, “The Congress ceded all power to the president to determine who can and cannot get in here during times he and he alone determines are dangerous for a length of time that he and he alone determines, and he does this by proclamation. Meaning, he doesn’t have to have anyone else sign on it. He can just say so and that’s the way it is.”
Like it or not, our President Trump has full constitutional power to effect his travel ban. Activist judges may whine that Trump is acting in an unconstitutional manner, but they are in fact the guilty party.
As far as the actual content of the travel ban, it is nearly impossible to go to far. A permanent moratorium on all immigration, all refugees, and perhaps nearly all travel is just what the doctor ordered. Why? Click here…
