O Sacred Heart of Jesus, please help me to love Thee as Thy saints love Thee. Please help me to love Thee even as Thy Blessed Mother loves Thee. Please help me to love Thee with all of my powers of loving, but then, how pitiful are my powers of loving? I cannot be satisfied with this. To love Thee with all of my powers of loving is not enough. I ask of Thee then, O my infinitely lovely Jesus, to increase my powers of loving. Give me Thy own Heart with which to love Thee. Thou commandest me to be perfect even as my Heavenly Father is perfect, therefore I must love even as Thou dost love. Give me Thy Heart, O Jesus, that I may love Thee as Thou ought to be loved.
