O Sacred Heart of Jesus, with the help of Thy grace I firmly resolve to keep the following resolutions:
I will often throughout the day ask Thee for a share in Thy humility by repeating as frequently as I can, “Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make my heart like unto Thine.”
I will foster a greater devotion to Thy holy mother by offering all of my works and prayers to Thee through her immaculate and sorrowful heart. “Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give myself to Thee through Mary.”
I will strive to make reparation to Thee for my past offenses by bearing manfully all of the daily crosses which Thou dost lovingly send to me. Whenever I find myself encountering a cross, I will remind myself to suffer patiently and cheerfully with the intention of comforting and consoling Thy own suffering Sacred Heart.
