When is the best time to offer God a prayer of thanks? When things are not going well. The worse the situation, the better suited we are to give Him our thanks. Our lives could always be much, much worse, so giving thanks for the great many blessings we do have is surely most pleasing to God. No matter how terrible the situation may be, every human being owes to his Creator an infinite amount of thanks. It was Him who removed from us the misery of non-existence by His most wonderful gift of life. It is from this initial gift of life that all His other gifts proceed.
So when we’re feeling down, offer a prayer of thanks to the good God who gave you the most wonderful gift of life. Do this, and you may just change your life.
