During the Christmas season, all good souls should be rejoicing in the birth of their Savior. This can be done by inviting the Christ Child to dwell in our soul. He Who was born in Bethlehem–the house of bread–desires to be born again into our own personal Bethlehem. The Christ Child is the Bread of Life, and our souls are meant to be the house of that Bread. Just as we decorate our Christmas trees by adorning them with beautiful ornaments, so should we deck out our souls with the beautiful ornaments of virtue. When the Divine Christ Child sees a beautiful soul adorned with holy virtues, He will gladly take up His residence within that true Bethlehem.
