Sacred Heart of Jesus, I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to ask Thee for more and greater blessings. I am only a sinner and deserving of nothing, but Thou art infinite goodness, wealth, and power. Why do I insult Thee by asking for so little? I am almost scared to ask for great favors because I know that I do not deserve them. Miracles are only granted to saints, so why should I pray for miracles?

But what terrible way of thinking this is. Thou dost work miracles for me every single day by continuing to preserve my nothingness, by continuing to love me who am nothing but nothingness itself. O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Thy love for me, and I will no longer doubt it. I come to Thee full of confidence in Thy goodness and love, and I ask Thee for the greatest of favors.

Please make me a saint for Thee. Please grant me such an increase of every virtue that my heart is made like unto Thine. Make me an instrument of Thy holy will. Please bless all of my friends and family with perfect happiness, holiness, and health. Please convert every sinner, release every soul in purgatory, and effect the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on earth. Restore Thy Church to her former glory, and even increase it a hundredfold. Grant us what we have so long prayed for, generation after generation – “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
