O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer and consecrate my business entirely to Thee. It is already Thine because Thou dost own its owner and employ its employees, but nevertheless, I freely offer and consecrate it to Thee as if it were mine to give.
It is very hard for me to make this offering because of my pride and self love, but I entrust entirely to Thee the wellbeing of my business. If Thou dost deign to grant us success, I gratefully accept it as coming from Thy Hand and claim none of it as my own doing. If Thou dost – in Thy infinite wisdom – deign to give us struggles and failures, I no less graciously accept these hard times as just punishments for my sins and golden opportunities to prove my confidence in and love for Thee.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, please reward my confidence in Thee. I do not ask for unlimited success in business. I know that it is the lot of a Christian man to suffer in this world because he was not made for this world. I ask simply that Thou dost keep me under the watchful eye of Thy loving paternal care and always grant what is best for me. Not my will, but Thine be done. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come!
Please bless each and every employee of this business. Please enable them, through their diligent and persevering work, to always materially support their families in a manner conducive to Thy most holy will. Please help them to respect their superiors, act graciously towards their inferiors, and be charitable with their peers. Make the workplace a haven of justice and charity in a world full of injustice and hatred. Let the good work that these meek and humble men perform each day be a means of salvation to their immortal souls.
Please bless also each and every customer of the business. Let us be a good example to them as we reflect the principles of the Gospels and the love of Christ in our daily conduct. Please bless all of those with whom we come into contact, and let our light shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven.
