Every lover of the truth will at some point be labeled as “full of hate.” This sounds like a terrible accusation, and many good souls will attempt to defend themselves against the charge. But why not just embrace the truth?
All lovers of the truth do hate very often in the sense that we hate iniquities. We love the truth, and we hate lies. We love what is good, and we hate what is bad. Everyone must hate something because man cannot serve two masters. He must love the one and hate the other. Ask ourselves: Which master do we serve? What do we hate?
