If God is infinite wisdom, why do we fear His dealings with us? Could an infinitely wise God try us beyond our means? Could He ever do anything that was not good for us? Does He not love us enough to send His only begotten Son to suffer and die for us? How could anyone say that our perfect God does not deal with His beloved children in the most perfect manner?
All of these questions and their answers lead us to an inescapable truth. Everything that happens to us is good. God permits nothing that would harm His children. No matter how burdensome our cross may be, it is always a cross that our loving Father has perfectly designed to fit our needs.
Considering this, we should never complain of anything. Rather, we should thank God for loving His children so tenderly. Rejoice at all of God’s works, for they are all inspired by His infinite wisdom.
