It is a simple fact of life that no man can decide the type of world into which he is born. We are dealt only one hand of cards, and it is with these cards that we must play.
As a man progresses throughout his life here on earth, he can do very little or nothing to influence the world in which he lives. Only the greatest of saints have been granted the graces to change the world.
If a man decides to procreate, however, he automatically possesses a tremendous power to influence what the world will be like in the future. After all, children are but clay in the hands of their potter parents. So while a man has no say in the world he is born into, and very little say in the world he lives in, he is the principle agent for determining what the world will be.
