How many times do we hear this silly phrase. “I have God in my life,” the guilty conscience maintains, “so everything is fine.”
But is it really enough to just have God in your life? It would seem that a certain fallen angel ruling in hell has God in his life too, and yet he remains in hell.
It is not enough to simply acknowledge that God exists. It is not enough to offer Him the occasional prayer. It is not enough to perform some good works. It is not enough to love Him a little. Only those souls who love God more than themselves will be saved. All others–even those who have God in their lives–will receive nothing but everlasting death.
